Edith Anderson Smallwood, age 60 passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at her home. Edith was born on Feb. 24, 1952 to her parents the late Hillard Anderson and Mary Slone. She was the wife of James Smallwood, a homemaker, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. In addition to her husband, Edith is survived by two sisters, Betty Anderson, Ollene Stapleton, six brothers, Hobert, Claude, Paul, Bobby, Buddy, and Glenn Anderson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker, Mike Justice, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Tom Johnson Cemetery at Jack's Creek, Ky.
