Judith Lynn Varney age 66 passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at her home. Judith was born on April 5, 1946 to her parents the late Jesse Varney and Christine Saunders Varney. Along with her parents, Judith was preceded in death by one infant sister. Judith is survived by two brothers, Leslie Elmo "Moe" Varney of Kimper, Jeff Varney of Harold, Ky., one sister, Mirian Sue "Susie" Varney Spradlin and her husband James "Turtle" Spradlin of Kimper, Ky., two nieces, Christina Lynn Thacker (Dirk) Dillon, Jessica Lee Varney, one nephew, Jason Leslie Varney, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Sam Crawford officiating. The burial will follow in the Phillips Family Cemetery at Kimper.
