Patricia Fern Smith Adkins age 73 passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Mt. View Health Care Center. Patricia was born on April 11, 1939 to her parents the late George Blaine Smith and Fern Stewart. She was the wife of John David Adkins, a homemaker, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her husband, Patricia is survived by two sons, Johnny Dean Adkins, David Dwaine Adkins, four brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren, Austin Clay Adkins, Patricia Irene Jonrenee Adkins, and a host of loving family and friends. The funeral will be Friday, August 17, 2012 at 3p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Randy Damron officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Mausoleum.
