Guy Slone

Guy Slone age 79 passed away Monday, Dec. 20th, 2010 at his home. Guy was born on August 11th, 1931 to his parents the late Ballard Slone and Mercy Thacker Slone. He was a believer of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Guy is survived by one brother, Oliver (Emma) Slone, two nephews, Oliver Slone Jr., J.C. (Tammy) Roer, three nieces, Sherry Slone Ray, Patricia Slone Hess, Ethel (Sal) Bray, four great nephews, Oliver Dylan Slone, Jonathan Skeens, Jaycob Roer, Isaiah Roer, two uncles Epp Thacker, Rufus Thacker, and a host of loving cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Thursday 12-23-2010 at 1p.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Compton Cemetery at Island Creek.
