Randall Lee Varney

Randall Lee Varney age 57 passed away Monday Dec. 20th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Randall was born on January 29th, 1953 to his parents the late Arthur Varney and Dorothy Anderson Varney. He was the husband of Wanda Robinson Varney, a retired coal miner for McCoy Elkhorn Coal Company, and a member of the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Along with his wife, Randall is survived by one daughter Charlene Bridgeman of Raccoon, Ky., one son, Randall Varney of Raccoon, Ky., two brothers, Estil Varney of Powell County, Ronnie Varney of Raccoon, Ky., two sisters Daisy Newell of Montgomery County, Geneva Newell of Raccoon, Ky., two grandchildren, Jamie Bridgeman, and Meshala Varney, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 23rd, 2010 at 12 noon at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with Church of Christ Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Raccoon, Ky.
