Yvonne Current

Yvonne Current age 66 passed away Monday, January 3rd, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Yvonne was born on Nov. 28th, 1944 to her parents the late Hayes Murphy and Victoria Murphy. She was the wife of the late James P. Current, a homemaker, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by one son, and one daughter. Yvonne is survived by two sons, Billy H. Gibson of Millard, Ky., David K. Gibson of Pikeville, Ky., three daughters, Sonya L. Bevins of Cookeville, Tn., Mary A. Gillespie of Pikeville, Kathryn Rosenblam of Cookeville, Tn., one brother, Gary D. Murphy, five sisters, Nell Layne, Darlene Keathley, Bonnie Porter, Lorrine Williams, Renafay Geihm, thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, January 8th, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating.
