Deanna Sifers

Deanna Ramey Sifers, age 46 passed away Wednesday, January 12th, 2011 at her home. Deanna was born on May 17th, 1964 to her parents, Flossie "Katie" Pauley and the late Volman Ramey. She was the wife of Nickie Sifers, an instructional assistant for the Pike County Board of Education, and a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and mother, Deanna is survived by one daughter, Christen Lawson of Elkhorn City, one son, Jacob Sifers of Elkhorn City, one sister, Sharon Potter of Elkhorn City, two brothers, Bruce Ramey of Elkhorn City, Johnnie Ramey of Elkhorn City, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 7p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday, January 15th, 2011 at 12 noon at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Delon Jones, Chad Wells, and Seth Haynes officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
