Conley Bridgeman, age 87, of Little Creek, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, at the Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born on June 23, 1923, the son of the late Solman and Fannie Swiney Bridgeman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two infant brothers. Before his retirement, Conley owned and operated Bridgeman Construction. Conley proudly served his country with the U.S. Airforce. He was a member of the Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by a brother, Jesse Bridgeman of Little Creek, by a sister-in-law, Juanita Bridgeman of Little Creek, and by a niece, Loretta Bridgeman of Little Creek. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with John Vance and others officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana. Special services will be held Friday night at 7 p.m.
