Allene Clevinger

Allene Clevenger age 91 passed away Saturday, January 15th, 2011 in London, Ky. Allene was born on August 16th, 1919 to her parents the late Bob Clevenger and Crissie Clevenger. She was retired from Campbell's Soup Company in Napoleon, Ohio and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Allene was preceded in death by one son, Don E. Clevenger, three brothers, Ray, John, and Bobby Clevenger, and two sisters, Delores Bartley, and June Edwards. Allene is survived by one son, Darrell (Mary Ann) Layne of Lexington, Ky., her daughter-in-law, Chris Clevenger of Defiance, Ohio, two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 19th, 2011 at 12 noon at the Little Hattie Old Regular Baptist Church with Curt Carroll and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Clevenger Cemetery.
