Bluma Faye Gibson age 60 passed away Monday, January 17th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Bluma was born on April 25th, 1950 to her parents the late claude Adams and Nancy Jane Adams. She was the wife of Robert Thacker, a homemaker, and a member of the Church of God of Chloe. Along with her parents, Bluma was preceded in death by her first husband, Sid Gibson, one son, Robert Eugene Gibson, one brother, Harold Blake Adams, and one sister Barbara Gaye Price. Along with her second husband, Bluma is survived by one daughter, Donna Kay (Tim) Potter of Martin, Ky., two sons, Sid (Sherry) Gibson Jr. of Shelby Gap, Ky., Johnny Wayne Gibson, five step children, two sisters, Lois M. (Freddie) Wallace of Ashcamp, Ky., Loretta Kay Anderson of Elkhorn City, Ky., three brothers, Raymond Adams of Manasas, Va., Charles Ray (Diane) Adams of Elkhorn City, Ky., Carl Wayne (Erika) Adams of Great Falls, Montana, four grandchildren, Matthew Garfield Potter, Rebekah Leigh Ann Potter, Zachary Wayne Gibson, and Brittany Paige Addington, eleven step grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, January 20th, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Garfield Potter officiating. The burial will follow in the Elkhorn City Cemetery.
