Charles (Bob) Runyon age 74 passed away Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on April 30th, 1936 to his parents the late James Homer Runyon and Myra Kinney Runyon. He was the husband of Phyllis Coleman Runyon, retired self employed from coal mines, and a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith. He also served his country honorably in the United States Army. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmie Dale Runyon, and two grandsons, Terry Brandon Runyon and Jason Ira Little. Along with his wife, Charles is survived by one daughter, Robin Runyon Branham and her husband, Neal of Elkhorn City, two sons, Terry Runyon of Powells Creek, Vernon Little Jr. of Pikeville, Ky., two brothers, Billy Runyon of Pikeville, Eddie Runyon of Germany, five grandchildren, Jamey Neal (Sara) Branham, Jaren Keith (Misty) Branham, Christopher Wayne (Conda) Little, David Michael Little, Breann Paige Runyon, six great grandchildren, Alannah Faith Little, Noah Wayne Little, Davara Lenea Little, Dawson Jay Little, and Jude Keith Branham,and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home Special services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Delon Jones and Roger Lawson officiating.
