Margie Adkins

Margie (Harmon) Adkins,age 77, of Defiance Ohio, passed away January 31,2011 at Defiance Hospice Center. Margie was born in Pikeville,Ky. at Kimper to her parents, the late Jim and Martha (Hess) Harmon. Margie was the wife of the late Arthur Adkins, was a certified nursing assistant and was a member of the Pleasantview Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents and husband, Margie was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Harmon, Lee Harmon, and Jay Harmon. Margie is survived by four sons, James(Julie)Adkins, Arthur(Karen)Adkins, Daniel(Glenda)Adkins, Jonathon(Mandie)Adkins, two daughters, Nancy(Dan)McCarthy, Debbie(George)Adkins,three sisters, Lorene Pinion, Ermalene Blankenship, Judy Ann Goff, Seventeen Grandchildren, Twenty Great-Grandchildren and a host of family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Cedar Bottom Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday February 4th, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Cedar Bottom Old Regular Baptist Church with A.B.Thacker, Garfield Thacker, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Harmon Cemetery at Hurricane Creek.
