Lesa Gail Childers

Lesa Gail Childers age 46 passed away Saturday, Feb. 5th, 2011 at the U.K. Medical Center. Lesa was born on March 15th, 1964 to her parents Everett Phipps and Magalene Coleman Phipps. She was the wife of Nick Childers, a substitute teacher for the Pike County Board of Education, and a member of the Rockhouse Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Lesa is survived by one son, Matthew Smith of Rockhouse, Ky., one daughter, Megan Smith of Rockhouse, Ky., and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Rockhouse Unity Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1p.m. at the Rockhouse Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Darrell Harmon, Jeremy Tackett, and Dale Senters officiating. The burial will follow in the Arthur and Mary Coleman Family Cemetery at Rockhouse.
