Dessie Crews

Dessie Crews age 48 passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15th, 2011 at the U.K. Medical Center. Dessie was born on July 25th, 1962 to her parents the late Ellis Hall and Faith Ann Elkins. She was a homemaker and a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Dessie was preceded in death by three brothers, Jeffery, Carvis Ray and Luther, two sisters, Glora Jean and Bernice. Dessie is survived by two daughters, Misty Maynard of Ohio, Christy Mullins of Pikeville, three brothers, Jim Bo of Neon, June Bug of Neon, and Robert of Neon, two sisters, Flona Gay Huston of Kona, Ky., Brenda Eldridge of Kona, Ky., ten grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Energyville Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 12 noon at the Energyville Freewill Baptist Church with David Bentley officiating. The burial will follow in the Seco Cemetery at Neon.
