Evelyn Marie Richardson

Evelyn Marie Richardson, age 81 passed away Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 at the Signature Health Care Center in Pikeville. Evelyn was born on Dec. 18th, 1929 to her parents the late Ulan Casebolt and Pearl Brooks Casebolt. She was the wife of the late James Richardson, a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Crawford Casebolt, and two sisters, Inis Workman, and Fayetta Thacker. Evelyn is survived by one son Johnny (Wanda Branham) Richardson of Ford's Branch, two daughters, Jacqueline (Joseph) Mattingly of Radcliff, Ky, Georgene Yates of Shelbiana, Ky., two step daughters, Billie (Billy Ray) Combs of Taylor, Mi., Patricia (Don) Owens of Ohio, one brother, Samuel Casebolt, seven sisters, Delphia Cruz, Ester Lee Newsome, Lillian Ann Hampton, Lennie Mattingly, Francis Hampton, Spicie Bartley, Rosalene Hall, nine grandchildren, Donna and Randall Hawkins, Stacy Fugate, Johnny Ray Richardson, Whitney Richardson, Trina Romans, Jacqueline Kinney, Herman Yates Jr., and James Yates, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday March 5th, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Greasy Creek Freewill Ministers and Church of Christ Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Alvis Newsome Cemetery at Little Robinson Creek.
