Eugene Bridgeman

Eugene Bridgeman, age 72, of Jonancy, Ky, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on January 23, 1939, the son of the late Henry Harmon and Ellia Bridgeman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Bridgeman of Ivel, Ky and Donna Jean Bridgeman of the state of Michigan, by two sisters, Irene Bridgeman Cole of Virgie, Ky, and Dina Branham of Jenkins, Ky, and by two grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011, after 6 p.m. at the Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Kermit Wright and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonancy Roberts Cemetery. Special services will be held on Sunday and Monday nights at 7 p.m.
