Glema Franklin

Glema Compton Franklin 85, of Little Creek Rd. Pikeville, Ky. passed away Friday March 11, 2011 at the Signature Health Care Center in Pikeville. She was born October 27, 1925 at Yeager, KY. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Cordelia Hopkins Compton. Along with her parents, Glema was preceded in death by her husband Bill Franklin Compton and one sister Sue Collins. She was a homemaker and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Glema is survived by two brothers: Kyle D. and Jack D. Compton both of Little Creek; two sisters: Reba Kinney of Jackson, Mississippi,and Lou Compton Mitchell of Little Creek, and a host of loving friends who will miss her. Visitation will be Sunday March 13 at 6 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with special services beginning at 7. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Yeager
