Madge Irene Mullins

Madge Irene Mullins, age 73, of Etoile, KY, formerly of Fords Branch, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at the University Hospital in Louisville. She was born on March 27, 1938, the daughter of the late Grady and Minty Brown Adkins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by four sisters and seven brothers. Madge was a homemaker and a member of the Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church at Fords Branch. She is survived by her husband, Howard Mullins, by four sons, Gerald (Diana) Mullins, Grady (Kim) Coleman, Ellis (Hope) Coleman, and Shayne (Angela) Mullins, by a brother, Reaford Adkins, by three sisters, Minty V. Raines, Ella E. Harris, and Ruth Bartley, by nine grandchildren, two great grandchild and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, after 6 p.m. at the Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12 noon at the Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist and Freewill Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery at Fords Branch. Special services will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.
