Robert E. Hamilton

Robert E. Hamilton age 68 passed away Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 at his home. Robert was born on July 28th, 1942 to his parents the late Freeman Hamilton and Josephine Stepp Hamilton. He was the husband of Ella Hamilton, a disabled veteran and coal miner, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three brothers, Jay, Edgar, and Arthur Hamilton, and one sister, Lorraine Lester. Along with his wife, Robert is survived by three daughters, Tammy Lynn Hamilton of Pikeville, Ky., Juwanna Faith Maynard of Pikeville, Bobbi Denise Hamilton of Pikeville, three sons, Jacob and Brady Ratliff both of Pikeville, Gavin Maynard of Pikeville, one brother, Thomas R. Hamilton of Pikeville, one sister, Edna Hamilton of Pikeville, three grandchildren, Virginia Hall, Robert Douglas Fleming, and Patrick Nathaniel Fleming, three great-grandchildren, Lakan Sue Fleming, Braxton Douglas Fleming, and Luke Fleming, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. The funeral will be Thursday at 7p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jarvey Kiser and Johnny Hamilton officiating.
