Helen Mullins

Helen L. Mullins age 70 passed away Monday, April 18th, 2011 at her home. Helen was born on March 8th, 1941 to her parents the late Frank McFadden and Rosa Wright McFadden. She was the wife of Charles V. Mullins,a nursing home employee, and a member of the baptist church. Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by one sister, Eula. Along with her husband, Helen is survived by one son, Michael Lawrence of Nashville, Tn., one daughter, Anna Curtis of Flagger Beach, Florida, five step children, Debbie Slone of Pikeville, Sherry and Ben Morgan of Pound, Va., Cynthia Casebolt of Ashland, Ky., Delisa Harris of Abingdon, Va., Conley Mullins of Pike County, Ky., special caregiver and friend, Betty Stewart, special nurse, Dot Stanley, three sisters, Shirley (Dempsey) Mullins of Hopkinsville, Ky, Kay (Warren) Sowards of Hopkinsville, Ky., Ruth Darrel (Robert) Mullins of McRoberts, Ky., two grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Tackett and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Bentley Family Cemetery at Beefhide.
