Helena J. Collins

Helena J. Collins age 84 passed away Monday, April 25th, 2011 at her home. Helena was born on August 12th, 1926 to her parents the late John M. Justice and Pluma Huffman Justice. She was the wife of the late Victor Collins, a homemaker, and a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Helena was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, Clinton, Jimmy Wayne and Aaron Justice, and three sisters, Helen Justice, Johnine Huffman, and Gayle Mosley. Helena is survived by one daughter, Wada L. Adkins of Pikeville, two step children, Mike Collins of California and Paul Collins of Pikeville, two brothers, Dewey Justice of Louisville, Dock Justice of Pikeville, two sisters, Estelle Collins of Pikeville, Jacqueline Justice of Pikeville, four step grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday April 29th, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jim Patton, Tommy England, and Bob Justice officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
