Janie Lynn Standifur

Janie Lynn Newcomb Standifur age 45 passed away Thursday, April 28th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Janie was born on January 31st, 1966 to her parents Nolan Newcomb and Martha Damron Newcomb. She was the wife of George Standifur, a homemaker, and a believer of the baptist faith. Janie was preceded in death by one son, Josh Johnson. Along with her husband and parents, Janie is survived by one son, Jason Johnson of Virgie, Ky., one daughter, Ashley Teasley of Lexington, Ky., one sister, Tonya Compton of Regina, Ky, three grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
