Willie EC Slone

Willie EC Slone age 57 passed away Sunday, May 8th, 2011 at his home. Willie was born on March 9th, 1954 to his parents the late Thaniel Slone and Faris Layne Slone. He was the husband of Jewel Charles Slone, a retired coal miner for Excel Coal Company, and a member of the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Willie was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Along with his wife, Willie is survived by two brothers, Hatler (Grace) Slone of Meta, Ky., Willard Alonzo (Elva) Slone of Meta, Ky., two sisters, Bernestine Slone of Pikeville, Ky., Lola Harris of Fed's Creek, Ky., and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Brad Williamson and Donald Harris officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
