Myrtle Pearleen Coleman age 77 passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Myrtle was born on April 28, 1934 to her parents the late Henry Harrison Ramey and Martha Bartley Ramey. She was the wife of the late Eugene Coleman, a homemaker, and a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jeana Coleman, four brothers, Delayon Ramey, Raymond Price, Voleman Ramey, and James Ale Ramey. Myrtle is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Jack) Coleman of Rockhouse, Jennie Coleman Nichols of Rockhouse, one brother, Scottie Ramey of Va., two sisters, Betty Ramey, Eulene Harmon of Mi., three grandchildren, Kevin Coleman, Bethanee Pavlik, Jennifer Nichols, three great-grandchildren, Caden Lee Ratliff, Haley Brooke Coleman, Alexander James Pavlik, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, May 19th, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Donald Ray Davis, Terry Gibson, and Darrel Harmon officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
