Leona Polson

Leona Polson age 79 passed away Monday, May 16th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Leona was born on Sept. 7th, 1931 to her parents the late Whetsel Hall and Fennie Hall. She was the wife of the late Calvin Polson, a homemaker, and a member of Pleasant Valley Church. Along with her husband and parents, Leona was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Hall and Noah Hall, and three sisters, Bertha Scott, Betty Bartley, and Margie Johnson. Leona is survived by three brothers, Mack Hall of Harold, Lawrence Hall and Clyde Hall both of Pikeville, Ky., and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, May 20, 2011 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Roy Smith officiating. The burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel.
