Charles Stoney Hill

Charles Stoney Hill age 67 passed away Monday, June 6th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Charles was born on Sept. 5th, 1943 to his parents the late Leslie Hill and Rosa Belcher Hill. He was a disabled coal miner and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one son Walker Hill, four brothers, and one sister. Charles is survived by three sons, Ricky Dean Hill of Shelbiana, Stoney Jr. Hill of shelbiana, Bill Hill of Pikeville, one daughter, Rose Coleman of Rockhouse, nine grandchildren, Donnie Coleman, Chasity Hill, Tiffany Coleman, Joyce Gibson, Dena Hill, Ricky Jr. Hill, Breanna Hill, Chris Coleman, Joshua Hill, five great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday, June 10th, 2011 at 2p.m. at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church. The burial will follow in the Alex Ratliff Cemetery at Wolfpit.
