Willard Adams

Willard Adams 72 of Island Creek Rd. Pikeville, KY passed away Saturday at his residence. He was born February 15, 1939 in Pikeville, KY. Willard was the son of the late Ned and Viola Adams. He was a retired employee of the Tug Valley Electric Company and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Willard was preceded in death by one brother: Ned Adams; and one sister: Pearl Ray. Willard is survived by his wife Almeda Adams of Island Creek; one son: Kevin Dale Adams and his wife Sabrina; five daughters: Darlene Howell and her husband Jeff; Sherry Adkins and her husband Brad; Lisa Adkins and her husband Tony; Donna Stacy and her husband Anthony; Pamela Bevins and her husband Brian; four sisters: Edith Bellmyer, Sylvia Coleman, Pluma Ray, Thelma Justice, and ten grandchildren that will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Sunday June 12 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home at 6 P.M. with special services held Sunday and Monday at 7 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, June 14, at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with John B. Hamilton and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Ned Adkins Cemetery at Island Creek.
