Elmer Hamilton

Elmer Hamilton age 70 passed away Monday, June 20th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Elmer was born on May 13, 1941 to his parents the late Robert Hamilton and Emma Bryant Hamilton. He was the husband of Thelma Tackett Hamilton, a coal miner for J & S Mining, and a member of the First Christian Church. Along with his wife, Elmer is survived by four brothers, Clifford, Willie, Johnny, and Delmer Hamilton, and four sisters, Thelma Mitchell, Margaret McKinney, Pearline Hamilton, Patty Howell, six grandchildren, Dawn Hall, Kyle Hamilton, Austin Martin, Shelly, Lucas, Cameron Hamilton, and two great grandchildren, Trevor Douglas Hall, Emma Lauren Hall, and a host of loving family and friends. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 at 12:30P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Johnny Hamilton officiating. The burial will follow in the Amos Newsom Cemetery.
