Lena Hunt

Lena Hunt, age 88, passed away Monday, July 4th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Lena was born on Feb. 27th, 1923 to her parents the late Spencer Noland and Phoebe Russell Noland. She was the wife of the late Wallace Hunt and a homemaker. Along with her husband and parents, Lena was preceded in death by two sons, Lundy Hunt and Jeffery Hunt, and three daughters, Betty Lou Hunt, Anita Hunt, Berchie Hunt, and one sister, Iola Vanover. Lena is survived by four sons, James (Goldie) Hunt of Phyllis, Ky, Wallace (Marie) Hunt of Feds Creek, Ky., Teddy (Pamela) Hunt of Phyllis, Ky., Clarence (Rita) Hunt of Sydney, Ky., three daughters, Glema Sue (Taylor) Adkins of Phyllis, Ky., Mary Betty (Earl) Adkins of Menifee County, Wilma (Hubert) Sauerette of Keene Mtn, Va., nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday July 7, 2011 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Arnold Adams officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
