Charlene Damron

Charlene Damron age 88 passed away Saturday, July 2nd, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Charlene was born on Sept. 11th, 1922 to her parents the late Crit May and Dulcie May. She was the wife of the late James Dempsey, a homemaker, and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Charlene was preceded in death by one infant son,one son, Paul Damron, three sisters, Edna, Ivery, Zettie, and one brother, Curt. Charlene is survived by one daughter Patricia Rush of Kissimmee, Florida, one brother, Clyde May of Ohio, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday July 4, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bob Justice and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
