Venita Kelly

Venita Bowling Coleman Kelly age 87 passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at her home. Venita was born on Nov. 25th, 1923 to her parents the late Boone Bowling and Annie Potter Bowling. She was the wife of the late Roy Kelly, a homemaker, and a member of the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Venita was preceded in death by two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Venita is survived by four sons, Johnny Clark Coleman, Richard Dean Coleman, Mark Coleman, Lowell Thomas Coleman, eleven daughters, Bethel Kelly, Joyce Maples, Marie Smith, Tracy Colley, Debbie Wooten, Brenda Ratliff, Elizabeth Adkins, Mildred Sue Kohen, Athena Hopkins, Barbara Slone, Elenore Wallace, one brother, Joe Jack Bowling, one sister, Florence Bartley, forty-five grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Monday, July 18th, 2011 at 12 noon at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Bowling Fork Cemetery.
