Florena Cole Roberts

Florena Cole Roberts age 74 passed away Sunday, July 17th, 2011, at the Parkview Nursing Home. Florena was born on July 29th, 1936 to her parents the late Curtis Cole and Ethel Damron Cole. She was the wife of Homer Roberts, a homemaker, and a member of the Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Florena was preceded in death by one son, Homer Dale Roberts, one brother, Cecil Cole, and one sister, Marie Fish. Along with her husband, Florena is survived by two sons, Fred and C.D. Roberts both of Robinson Creek, one daughter, Susie Roberts of Robinson Creek, one sister, Jeanetta Mullins of Robinson Creek, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.
