Joseph (Joe P.) Mullins

Joseph (Joe P.) Mullins age 44 passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at his home. Joe was born on May 9th, 1967 to his parents the late Virgil Mullins and Golda Johnson Mullins. He was the husband of Seronda Looney Mullins, and retired from being self employed Joe Mullins Trucking Company. Along with his parents, Joe was preceded in death by one brother James Virgil Mullins. Along with his wife, Joe is survived by four children, Joseph Paul Mullins II, Jessica Renee' Mullins, Jeremy Virgil Mullins, Jacob James Mullins all of Dorton, Ky., one brother, Johnny Mullins of Dorton, three sisters, Dolores Justice of Pikeville, Deborah Collins of Dorton, Doris Belcher of Elkhorn City, one grandson, Joseph Timothy Paul Mullins and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Hubert Potter, Teddy Tackett and other Dorton Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery at Three Mile.
