Melissa K. Hayes

Melissa K. Stiltner Hayes, age 45, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at her home. Melissa was born on May 13, 1966 to her parents the Adarine Hunt Thacker and the late McArthur Stiltner. She was the wife of John Hayes, a homemaker, and a believer of Holiness Faith. Along with her husband and mother, Melissa is survived by her step-father, Donald Thacker, two sons, Christopher (Kristin) Hayes of Phyllis, Donnie Hayes of Phyllis, Ky., two brothers, Dennis Stiltner of Mouthcard, Ky., Jackie Thacker of Shelbiana, Ky., three sisters, Teresa Lester of Big Rock, Va, Glenna Stiltner of Mouthcard, Ky, Donna Ramey of LIck Creek, Ky., three grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary, and Jeremiah, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lick Creek Church of God. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lick Creek Church of God with Ray Sayers and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Phyllis, Ky.
