Margaret Adkins

Margaret Frasure Adkins age 84 passed away Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Margaret was born on March 10, 1927 to her parents the late Lee Frasure and Bertha Hagens Frasure. She was the wife of the late Jessie James Adkins, a homemaker, and a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one son, Billy Lee Adkins, two brothers and three sisters. Margaret is survived by one son, Ricky D. (Francie) Adkins of Pikeville, four grandchildren, Daniel Keith Adkins, Robert Alan Adkins, Anna Marie Tackett, Johnathon Douglas Adkins, two great grandchildren, Isabella Rhea Allen, Trenton Tyler Tackett and a host of loving family and friends. Visitaiton will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday August 20, at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bob Norman and Andy Smith officiating. The burial will follow in the R. H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana.
