Connie Sue Belcher

Connie Sue Belcher, age 66, passed away Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Connie was born on June 9, 1945 to her parents the late Conder Smith and Mattie Smith. She was the wife of Bobby W. Belcher, a homemaker, and a member of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Connie was preceded in death by one brother, Davey Smith, and two sisters, Emmalene and Christine Smith. Along with her husband, Connie is survived by one son Bobby R. Belcher, two daughters, Tammy Delong and Sherry Meadows, five brothers, gary Smith, John Smith, Perry Smith, Billy Smith, James Smith, four sisters, Wilma Smith, Kathy Ellis, Rosemary Metcalf, Audrey Smith, six grandchildren, Whitney Bentley, Joshua Bentley, Amber Meadows, Taylor Bentley, Zoey Meadows, Franklin Delong, four great-grandchildren, Alexis Wallace, Kristin Delong, Jonathan and Jeremiah Delong, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, August 28th, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Daryl Harmon, Mike Coleman, and Delon Jones officiating. The burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery at Willow Tree.
