Cloteene Keene Howard

Cloteene Keene Howard, age 77, of Pikeville, Ky, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on August 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Ulva and Velvie Blackburn Keene. Cloteene was the wife of the late Billy Ray Howard. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Foster Keene and by a grandson, Jason Howard. Cloteene had been a self-employed business owner and a member of the Main Street Church of Christ for over 50 years. She is survived by two sons, Timothy (Loretta) Howard and Nickey Howard both of Pikeville, by a daughter, Addie Susan (Terry) King of Pikeville, by a sister, Pauline Looney of Pikeville, KY, one granddaughter, Jessica Howard (Will) Puckett, and by two grandchildren, Lakin Puckett and Hannah Puckett. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Main Street Church of Christ Ministers Officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park Cemetery.
