Bobby W. "Bugs" Belcher

Bobby W. "Bugs" Belcher, age 73 passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Bobby was born on Nov. 26, 1937 to his parents the late Ed Belcher and Nora Belcher. He was the husband of the late Connie Sue Smith Belcher, retired from Wayne Long Truck Company, and a member of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his wife and parents, Bobby was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Thacker, and two brothers, Franklin Belcher, Paul Belcher. Bobby is survived by one son, Bobby R. Belcher, two daughters, Tammy Delong, Sherry Meadows, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Daryl Harmon, Mike Coleman, & Delon Jones officiating. The burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery at Wolfpit.
