Glenn D. Wolfe

Glenn D. Wolfe, age 74 passed away Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at his home. Glenn was born on June 28th, 1937 to his parents the late Malcolm B. Wolfe and Laura Steele Wolfe. He was the husband of Janetta Branham Wolfe, a retired employee of Adams Enterprise, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion and a Ky Colonel. Along with his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by two brothers, James Wolfe and Kenneth Tommy Wolfe, and one sister, Alma Wolfe Cantrell. Along with his wife, Glenn is survived by one son, Glenn D. (Jennifer) Wolfe II of Somerset, Ky., two daughters, Felicia Wolfe of Shelby Gap, Ky., Gina (Mark) Wolfe Kelly of Dotham, Alabama, two sisters, Rita J. (Bill) Wolfe Foley of Pound, Va., Phyllis (Dave) Wolfe Hall of Shelby Gap, Ky., five grandchildren, Michael Bubby Kelly, Kayla D. Kelly, McKenzie, Kamryn, & Kaylee Young and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, October 22nd, at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Phelps officiating. The burial will follow in the Wolfe-Steele Cemetery.
