Norma Jean Ratliff

Norma Jean Ratliff, age 60 passed away Thursday October 20, 2011 at her home. Norma was born on Nov. 19,1950 to her parents the late Cledis Kinney and Maxine Adkins Kinney. She was retired mail room supervisor at Appalachian News-Express, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Norma was preceded in death by one son, Chad Ratliff, one brother, Jerry Kinney, one sister, Debbie Keene. Norma is survived by three sisters, Ann Ratliff of Shelbiana, Judy Hurley of Raccoon, Betty Ratliff of Shelbiana, two brothers, Billy Kinney and Michael Kinney both of Shelbiana. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday Oct. 23, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dewey Ratliff officiating. The burial will follow in the R. H. Ratliff Mausoleum.
