Archie Ray Price

Archie Ray Price, age 66 passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at his home. Archie was born on October 22, 1944 to his parents the late Ottis Albert Price and Orpha Jane Vanover Price. He was the husband of Florence Justus Price, a retired truck driver for Mike and Ronnie Adkins Trucking Company. He was a member of the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Archie was preceded in death by one brother, William Hearld Price, and one sister, Mary Italy Damron. Along with his wife, Archie is survived by one daughter, Melinda Kilgore, two sons, Ottis Ray Price, Andy Ali Price, one brother, Douglas McArthur, eight grandchildren, Jordan Kilgore, Zackory Price, Andrew Dakota Price, Braxton Price, MaKayla Adams Price, Jasmine Adams Price, Conner Douglas, and Ray (Duke) Price, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday Oct. 24th, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with George Baker, Steve Baker, Jimmy Dale Sanders, Stacy Hopkins and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Elkhorn City Cemetery.
