Moses Eugene (Bob) Damron, age 84 passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Moses was born on March 24, 1927 to his parents the late King Damron and Canzada Looney Damron. He was the husband of the late Pebble Mullins, a retired coal miner for Russell Fork Coal Company, and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his wife and parents, Moses was preceded in death by one son, Eddie, five brothers, Herald Damron, Pearl Damron, Burla Damron, Jacob Ray Vean Damron, and Hermit Damron, and four sisters, Mearle Crowher, Ledna Collins, Malissa Francisco, Ola Mae Stalker. Bob is survived by three sons, Clarence "Daggie" (Janie) Cantrell, Dannie Allen (Jill) Damron, Dennis Ray (Debbi) Damron,three daughters, Carol Jeanette (Junior) Good, Rita Lynn (David) Johnson, Kimberly Michelle (Mark) Payne, two sisters, Elva Marie Mullins, Francis Gail Chaney, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Dale Sanders, Carson Wright, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
