Ollie James Anderson

Ollie James Anderson, age 81, formerly of Myra, Ky passed away October 30th, 2011 peacefully at his home in Whitesburg, Tn surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patsy Sue Locke, son Randy Anderson, granddaughter, Letisha Yates, parents Tom and Myrtle Anderson, brothers, Raymond Anderson, Willard Anderson, Eugene Anderson, and sister, Phyllis Pace. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Janvee Anderson, sons, Johnny (Louise) Anderson of Ashcamp, Ky., Raymond (Vickie) Anderson of Myra, Ky., daughters, Mary (Roger) Kincaid of Whitesburg, Tn., Judy (Donald) Yates of Dana, Ky., Gretta (Ed) Dalton of Bean Station, Tn., Shirl Lucas of Bean Station, Tn., and Rita Thompson of Lexington, NC, by a brother, Ulan Anderson, by two sisters, Elma Manick and Lilly Helton,15 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends after 6p.m. on Tuesday November 1st at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home and after 6p.m. on Wednesday. The funeral will be Thursday Nov. 3, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dolph Kelly and Homer Mullins officiating. The burial will follow in the Cantrell Cemetery at Shelby Gap.
