Emma Dell Goble age 62 passed away Friday, Nov. 18th, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Emma was born on April 9th, 1949 to her parents the late Ralph Hall and Mable Damron Hall. She was the wife of Jimmy Goble, a store clerk for 18 years for Jim Thacker's Grocery, and a member of Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Emma was preceded in death by four brothers, Curt, Roy, Sam, and Dean Hall, and one sister, Katherine Tibbs. Along with her husband, Emma is survived by four children, Kelly Thacker of Florida, Donald Hall of Pikeville, Brian Ross of Pikeville, Vickie Coleman of Pikeville, three step daughters, Donna Goble of Pikeville, Debbie Goble of Pikeville, Tonya Goble of Michigan, one brother, Howard Hall of Floyd County, twenty three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
