Ivan McCown

Ivan McCown, age 58 passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on October 9, 1953 to his parents the late Red McCown and Oma McCown. He was the husband of Susie McCown, a retired engineer for the Norfolk Southern Railroad, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Ivan was preceded in death by one brother, Ernie McCown. Along with his wife, Ivan is survived by one daughter, Aaliyah Adams, three sons, Jarrod McCown, Kris McCown, Jayce Adams, one sister, Glenda Morrin, nine grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday Nov. 28, 2011 at 12 noon at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday Nov. 28th,, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman officiating.
