John Henry Mullins age 82 passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. John was born on May 16, 1929 to his parents the late B. Mullins and Nancy Mullins. He was the husband of the late Willa Dean Little Mullins, a retired coal miner for Green Hall Coal Company, and a member of the Shelby Valley Church of Christ. Along with his wife and parents, John was preceded in death by six children, Benny Lee Mullins, Fayetta Little, Bobby and Billy Mullins, Joseph and Marie Mullins, one granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Cooper. John is survived by one daughter, Laura Cooper of Garrison, Ky., three sons, Eddie Lee Mullins of Caney Hwy., John Mullins of 611, David Mullins of Irvin, Ky., one brother, David Mullins of Richmond, Va., two sisters, Della Napier of Paintsville, Ky., Elsie Music of Prestonsburg, Ky., eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Shelby Valley Church of Christ. The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Shelby Valley Church of Christ with Church of Christ Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Mullins-Roberts Cemetery at Frogtown.
