Anthony Darrell Little

Anthony Darrell Little, age 64 passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 at his home. Darrell was born on March 8, 1947 to his parents the late Truby Little Sr. and Dahlia Johnson Little. He was the husband of Joann Newsome Little, a retired coal miner, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by one son, Andy Little, one brother, Truby Little Jr., and one sister, Lucille Burke. Along with his wife, Darrell is survived by one daughter, Angela Little (Tim) Phillips of Caney Hwy., two brothers, Larry Joe (Bea) Little of Virgie, Ky., Gary (Tammy) Little of Virgie, Ky., two sisters, Pat Fields of Mansfield, Ohio, Sharon (Edgar) Case of Virgie, Ky., two grandchildren, Connor Anthony Phillips, Jane Kerrey Phillips and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday Dec. 30, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Kermit Wright, Kevin Bowling, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Mausoleum.
