Lee Robinson age 94 passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Lee was born on March 4, 1917 to his parents the late Willie Robinson and Icie Coleman Robinson. He was the husband of the late Eunice Coleman Robinson, a retired miner for Republic Steel Coal Company, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his wife and parents, Lee was preceded in death by two sisters, Addie May, Magalene Adkins, and six brothers, Ted, Billy, Mack, Ellis, Douglas, and Tom Robinson. Lee is survived by two sons, Harold (Sarah) Robinson Morristown, TN., Kenneth (Billie) Robinson of Elkhorn City, Ky., one daughter, Katie (Duran) Clevinger of Elkhorn City, Ky., one sister, Hazel Adkins, care taker, Zelda Madden, three grandchildren, Tammy (Ben) Hopkins, Mark (Kristie) Robinson, Mitch (Chenna) Robinson, six great grandchildren, Kyle Robinson, Ryan (Tiffanie) McCoy, Cody (Hillary) Robinson, Taylen Stratton, Stevianna Blackburn, Kyle Blackburn, two great great grandchildren, Kaden and Kolson McCoy and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Thursday and Friday 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 12 noon at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church with Jimmy Dale Sanders and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
