Emma Maryian Runyon

Emma Maryian Runyon age 56 passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Emma was born on Nov. 4, 1955 to her parents the late Lorn Blake Looney and Carleen Oney Looney. She was a funeral director and a member of the Faith First Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Emma was preceded in death by one brother, Blake Looney, and two sisters, Brenda Fern Damron and Jamie Lou Looney. Emma is survived by three sons, Stephen Craig Coleman of Johnson City, Tn., Daniel Keith Coleman of Lexington, Ky., William Douglas Runyon of Lexington, Ky., two brothers, Lorn Jr. Looney of Hayside, Va., Anthony Quintin Looney of Elkhorn City, Ky., four sisters, Judith Lee of Stafford, Va., Barbara Sue Fontana of Algonquin, Illinois, Deronda Lea Porter of Bolivia, North Carolina, Martha Lynn Adkins of Elkhorn City, Ky., three grandchildren, Madison, Josh, and Ava, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Marrowbone Missionary Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Marrowbone Missionary Baptist Church with Nelson Damron and Chad Wells officiating. The burial will follow in the Oney Family Cemetery at Harless Creek.
