Thelma Jean Brown

Thelma Jean Brown age 85 passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at her home. Thelma was born on March 21, 1926 to her parents the late George Rose and Katie Shepard Rose. She was the wife of the late Sherman Brown and a homemaker. Along with her husband and parents, Thelma was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Rose. Thelma is survived by one son, Billy Cline of Pikeville, a special daughter in law Kathy Compton, one brother, Jimmy Rose, three grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Billy Compton officiating. The burial will follow in the Bush Cemetery.
